Classroom News

Welcome to our 6th grade class!  I'm sure many of you are nervous and excited about your new class.  I am looking forward to meeting each and everyone of you.  I know that we are going to have a great year!

Below are a few things to look for to help your child be the most success he/she can be this year.

Please remember to check your child's planner every day.  The activities we work on in class, plus homework assignments, and test dates are filled in here.

Help your child set up a regular homework place and time.  If there is "no" homework, students can always practice math facts, read, write, or go over math vocabulary.  Getting in the habit of regularly doing homework is very important, so as the students get older good habits are in place and they will be successful.
